In 1967, when the first V846 saw the light of day, it received a warm reception among rock guitarists worldwide, and since then has been used on countless legendary recordings and live jobs, not least "Voodoo chile" from the Woodstock festival in 1969.

The legendary V846 is now back and better than ever. VOX has handpicked only the best components to capture the classic sound character of the V846. The pedal has also been equipped with True Bypass and a completely new potentiometer developed by Vox for this particular pedal.
