Moog Theremini
A modern version of one of the oldest electronic musical instruments, the Theremin.
The theremin is one of the oldest electronic instruments and the only one you play without touching. By moving your hands in the space around its antennae, you control pitch and volume. Theremini is based on the sound engine of the award-winning iOS synthesizer Animoog.
The theremin is the only electronic instrument allowed to be used in a symphony orchestra. The playability of a Theremin is great and perhaps the purely electronic instrument with the most expressive possibilities.
A novelty is tone quantization, which allows the user to set the degree of difficulty on the instrument himself. At max setting, the Thereminin only plays the notes in the scale you have set, which means it is impossible to play wrong. Lowering the setting gives you more control over pitch and vibrato, and with the setting at minimum it works like a classic Theremin completely unaided.
A built-in tuner allows you to see the notes while you play. This is useful for correcting a user's position and for educating beginners about pitch and scales.
Other news include 32 presets based on waveforms or Wavetable synthesis. Save the desired scale and key. Built-in delay and speaker. LCD display.
