KORG NTS-1 NuTekt Synth DIY KIT
- Micro-synthesizer with programmable oscillator, 3 LFOs and multi-effects. Build self!

Build-it-yourself microsynthesizer with multi-effects processor
The first Nu:tekt product from KORG represents the innovative thinking for which KORG is widely respected. Creating music should be fun, and with Nu:Tekt it's not just the music you build - it's also the product itself! Now: You have to assemble the Tekt products yourself, but don't fear - you don't have to bring out a soldering iron or floor plans. If you can use a screwdriver and follow a simple construction guide, you'll be there in a few minutes.
Versatile digital synth engine
The heart of the NTS-1 is KORG's digital oscillator, also found in the Prologue/Minilogue XD. It is open-source software, so via the logue-SDK you can design your own oscillators and read into the NTS-1! Despite its small size, the NTS-1 delivers big and professional sound with almost endless possibilities. It also has an arpeggiator with different scales and very high quality reverb, modulation and delay effects.
Construction
The synth engine in the NTS-1 starts with the user-programmable digital oscillator that is sent to a multi-mode filter that, along with the amplitude, can be controlled by an ADSR envelope generator and as many as 3 LFOs. All the glory ends in 3 stereo effect processors and can be triggered by a full-blooded arpeggiator, the built-in ribbon keyboard, and MIDI-in. The 3 effects machines are inspired by those we find in the Minilogue XD. This means numerous reverbs, modulation effects and delays that can also be applied to the audio input, making the NTS-1 suitable as a stereo multi-effects machine in collaboration with other instruments.
Spas and pranks in all areas
Of course, it's fun to assemble the NTS-1 as it comes, but the extra long screws allow you to modify the design with your own side panels if you're feeling extra creative. It naturally has a stereo audio input, so you can send external signals through the effects machines, but there is also a classic Sync output, so you can trigger e.g. modular systems, and MIDI-in, so you can use it live via MIDI keyboards or other MIDI devices.
USB
NTS-1 is powered via 2 AAA batteries, or standard 5V USB. It is equipped with a USB-B micro socket and the cable is included. If you connect it to your PC or Mac, it gets both power and MIDI I/O via USB.
Included software
To make it extra fun and exciting to integrate the NTS-1 into your setup, you get a number of software licenses in the box. iZotope Elements is the baby version of the market-leading mix/mastering effects from iZotope, AI "Skoove" which is a keyboard playing course, Reason Lite which is Reason Studio's mini version of the popular Reason DAW, as well as software synths from KORG and others supplier.
