The R4 MultiTrak is the world's first portable, multi-track compact studio powered by 32-bit Float audio technology. Built around Zoom's popular handheld design, the R4 will give musicians and songwriters an exciting new mobile device for layering music tracks, whether they're recording a demo or building an original tune, with professional sound quality and the ultimate advantage of clip-free recording.

RECORD. BOUNCE. REPEAT.

With the R4 you can record up to four tracks, mix them and then bounce them to the dedicated 'bounce track'. This allows you to free up extra tracks to add more layers. You can also 'undo' your last bounce, allowing you to mix your tracks further or record new ones if necessary.

32-BIT FLOAT RECORDING

You don't have to worry about your audio signal clipping. The R4 captures perfect sound every time, without the need to adjust gain.

The R4 has 2 XLR/TS combo inputs with proven Zoom preamps. You can connect microphones, instruments, keyboards and more.

EVERY RECORDING IS SAVED

The tracks you record are automatically saved individually, even after they have been bounced. These tracks or other audio files can be loaded into a project on the R4.

32-BIT FLOAT AUDIO INTERFACE

The R4 is also a powerful 2-in/2-out USB audio interface with 32-bit float technology. Connect it to either your computer or smartphone.

BOARD AND CABINET

With a fader for each track and dedicated hardware buttons for the most commonly used functions, you don't need to navigate menus to record your music.
