On the road for over 25 years

Dave Grissom is not one to be satisfied. It took Dave and Paul almost 25 years to arrive at the signature model that saw the light of day in 2007. It is called PRS' best guitar ever by several renowned guitarists. Of course, it is always a question of taste, comfort and playing style, but that still says a lot. Now we finally have an SE edition of Dave's little masterpiece, and it is reaping the same accolades from the reviewers: Best SE model ever!

Simplicity above all else

Now you might think that it was a Swiss Army knife with tons of features and options, but in fact the DGT is quite basic. Two split-able DGT "S" humbuckers with 3-way switch, separate tone controls and a common volume. Classic 25" scale and 22 frets, rosewood fingerboard on a mahogany neck, body also made of mahogany with violin-cut maple top. Still, the DGT is a very versatile guitar with a fat, warm basic tone that gives vintage memories, but also excels in modern genres. The DGT is a real "player's guitar" with a focus on playability and good tone.
