KORG TR-S NuTekt Power Tube Reactor DIY Kit

The KORG TR-S is an effects pedal featuring KORG's NuTube "micro-tube" technology, which delivers the response and tonal character we know from tube circuits in a compact size that doesn't wear out in the same way as old-fashioned tubes, and can therefore last for decades.

The patented TR-2 circuit drives the compression of the tube itself, which is only possible with Nutube tubes. Use Nutube to recreate the "sag" (the feeling of compression) that is otherwise reserved for tube amplifiers with e.g. transistor amplifiers, or directly via the Hi-Z input live, or when recording. The TR-S is equipped with 3 trim buttons under a small rubber door, so you can fine-tune your sound down to the smallest detail. It's not just guitar sound that can benefit from a trip through the TR-S.

Besides the great sound, one of the advantages of the Nu:Tekt series is that you build them yourself. The TR-S kit requires no soldering, and all necessary parts and tools are included. This makes the TR-S one of the easiest and most fun units in the Nu:Tekt series to assemble, and contributes to the feeling of doing something extra for your sound.
