With KORG's Nutube technology, you can now get tube overdrive in an ultra-compact and manageable format. You even build the pedal yourself! Don't worry - there's no soldering or studying diagrams, it's a bit like LEGO.

New technology with micro-tubes

KORG's revolutionary Nutube technology was developed in collaboration with Noritake Itron Corp. The technology means you can get the warm, detailed sound of radio tubes with modern advantages. Nutube IS a tube, it's just extremely small and requires much less power, although the performance is directly comparable to traditional radio tubes.

Lots of sound options

The OD-S has two different gain knobs, which make it possible to hit a much larger palette of overdrive sounds than we otherwise know from pedals. And since the independent Nutube technology is so effective, the tube will probably never need to be replaced. It does not wear out in the same way as traditional radio tubes. You can also choose between two different distortion types (with different lo-hi ranges), which together with True Bypass complete the work.
