To celebrate the success, KORG has now produced a limited edition version under the name Minilogue Bass. Same sound. Same juice and power. But new disguise and new presets with special focus on bass.
New bass-focused sound bank
The sound bank in Minilogue Bass is the result of a collaboration with a selected group of musicians and sound designers who all have a special relationship with bass. Professional bass players and sound geeks with many years of experience in how to get bass to sit properly in the soundscape. The new presets are of course also compatible with the original Minilogue. The Minilogue Bass is a true full-blooded analog polysynth with 4 voices, 2 oscillators with wave shaping, versatile 2/4-pole Low Pass Filter, 2 envelopes, LFO and a Hi-Pass filter in the Delay effect section.
8 different Play Modes
With its 8 different Play Modes, the Minilogue Bass can be configured for many different occasions:
- POLY: 4-voice poly synth
- DUO: 2-voice poly synth with 2-voice stacks
- UNISON: Mono synth with all 4 voices stacked
- MONO: Mono synth with sub-oscillator
- CHORD: 4-part chords
- DELAY: Voices 2-4 play chronologically after voice 1
- ARP: Plays arepeggio with up to 4 voices
- SIDE CHAIN: New key press mutes volume on already sounding voice
16-step sequencer with Motion Recording
The sequencer in Minilogue Bass has 16 steps and a sequence is automatically saved together with the sound. So there are as many sequences as there are presets! In addition to being polyphonic, there is also Motion Record, which allows real time recording of up to 4 parameters.
OLED display
The built-in display, in addition to the value of parameters you change, also shows an oscilloscope when you play the Minilogue Bass, which gives good visual feedback on how the sound develops.
Sound Librarian
The free Sound Librarian software makes it possible to save and retrieve presets from a connected computer, so you never run out of new inspiration.
