What's the deal?

The pedal works in conjunction with a standard DAW plugin. The sound is routed via USB through the actual analog circuit in EHX's Big Muff Pi, thus adding a dose of analog warmth. Of course, it integrates seamlessly with all the most popular DAWs such as Pro Tools®, Ableton Live®, Cubase®, GarageBand®, Logic Pro X®, Reaper®, Studio One® and more.

Plug'n'play

Connect the Big Muff to your DAW via USB, select a track and open the plug-in window. Instead of software emulation, you now have real clipping diodes and override transistors at your disposal. You get the natural warmth that only electromagnetism can deliver to your digital workflow.

Your new interface?

The new Big Muff Pi Hardware Plugin can even act as a 2-in/2-out USB interface, allowing you to record with or without the Big Muff effect enabled.

The Big Muff Pi Hardware Plugin can be used as a stand-alone pedal and shares the circuit design of the legendary 1973 Violet Ram's Head Big Muff. The coveted pedal has set the standard for musical distortion and can be heard on countless recordings. Known for its unmistakable articulation and exceptional sustain, it is here updated to true stereo. Like the model, it also has Tone Wicker, Tone Bypass and - unlike the model - presets. You can store up to ten footswitch-accessible presets on the pedal itself and as many as your computer has room for.
