Expand your creative reach with a BOSS Divided Pickup

The GK-5B Divided Pickup is a specialized bass pickup designed for the GM-800 and other BOSS guitar synthesizer products. Unlike conventional guitar pickups - which send all string signals to a common output - the GK-5B senses each string individually and sends their signals to separate outputs in the serial GK system. This isolated string information enables your compatible BOSS product to perform all sorts of advanced processes that are not possible with standard pickups.

 

About the next generation of the serial GK system

Serial GK is a new digital instrument interface developed for BOSS guitar synthesizers. It has a secure, space-saving connection that provides a lower profile than previous GK products. BOSS BGK Series cables are specially designed for optimal performance with the serial GK system and are more durable and easier to handle than analog 13-pin cables.

Compatible with most basses

The GK-5B's large width and six internal sensors allow it to be installed on almost any four-, five- or six-string electric bass. In addition, you can adjust the sensor distance from the underside of the pickup to perfectly match the exact bridge distance of your instrument.
