As a result of many years of experience in the development of the most legendary synthesizers, the experts at Roland navel both sound and feel from three of their most sought-after classics, namely: JUPITER-8, JUNO-106 and JX-3P, all 3 of which are included in SYSTEM-8.
The Roland System-8 PLUG-OUT Synthesizer is in many ways the perfect amalgamation of all the best from both the analog/vintage and digital/modern worlds with classic oscillators, filters, effects, the reconstructed components of the 3 aforementioned legends and then the more modern oscillators, such as Saw, Square, Triangle, SuperSaw, SuperSquare, SuperTriangle, FM and several other unique waveforms.
But it doesn't end here... SYSTEM-8 has three expansion slots for expanding, hosting and controlling complete and 100% authentic PLUG-OUT synthesizers. On Roland Cloud there are several cool PLUG-OUTs such as SH-2, SH-101, PROMARS and SYSTEM-100, and you can use the intuitive "Performance mode" to combine the integrated synth engine and all hosted PLUG-OUTs for to construct super-synth patches with "custom-built" splits, layers and much more.
