Thornton Auriga 8 active speaker set

The Thornton Auriga 8 is a column speaker with built-in amplifier, which is intended to function as a practical and compact instrument and microphone amplifier, or as a front speaker for smaller performances. It is obvious in countless contexts - e.g. in the fitness centre, the home cinema, the banquet hall, in the café and bar etc etc.

The Auriga 8 has a built-in mixer with 3 inputs, so you can connect microphones, instruments and line level devices directly to the Auriga 8. Inputs 1 & 2 can both be used for microphones or instruments, while input 3 is for a line signal (smartphone) or the built-in music player.

The Auriga 8 also has a built-in MP3 player that can play music directly from USB, and the Auriga 8 has built-in bluetooth so you can play audio/music on the speaker wirelessly. You can thus play music on the Auriga 8 at the same time as you sing or play to the music being played.

You can connect 2 Auriga 8 in order to create a true stereo setup, and you can also link them together via Bluetooth if you want to play music from your smartphone on 2 speakers at the same time. The only thing you need for this is an XLR cable. You can also split the signal from an external mixer or other sound source if you want a stereo setup with 2 pieces of Auriga 8. For this you just need a cable that fits in the output of your sound source and which ends in 2 pieces of XLR male connector for the Auriga speakers.
