QSC CP12 Active Loudspeaker
The first thing you'll notice about QSC's CP series is the compact design. Behind the streamlined and stylish cabinet, this 12" speaker is equipped with an extra efficient 1000 Watt amplifier with corresponding transducers and advanced DSP, which delivers a performance far beyond what is expected from ordinary speakers of this size.
The CP12 is the older brother of the smaller 8" CP8 model. The CP12 is a slightly heavier and larger 12" speaker and therefore has a slightly wider frequency spectrum with a slightly higher volume and a slightly narrower coverage angle, but still remains in a realistic weight class for frequent transport.
The CP series is especially fantastic for institutions, entertainers, lecturers and others who will appreciate being able to use up to three different inputs with both 2 pcs. XLR/line combo inputs for microphones and large jack and a mini-jack/AUX input for playback, making the CP12 a super single-cabinet standalone PA system that you can set up in record time.
However, this does not mean that the CP12 does not also work in a larger setup, where the speaker can be mounted on a speaker pole, used as a floor monitor or even an instrument speaker. In addition, the CP12's one-touch DSP control is fantastic, as it has built-in presets for most common audio setups, so you don't have to spend too much time adjusting and setting the controls.
