Description
The Shure SM7B is made for radio studios, but has been used for numerous vocal recordings in studios around the world. Eg. Michael Jackson used an SM7B when recording the Thriller album.
The Shure SM7B is a detailed and warm-sounding vocal microphone ideal for up-close vocal recording, such as podcast recording, radio broadcasts, TV talkovers and lead vocal recording in studios.
Used on podcasts and media platforms around the world, the microphone has established itself as a true industry standard.
The dynamic SM7B microphone has a smooth, flat and wide frequency response suitable for music and speech in all professional audio applications. It has excellent shielding against electromagnetic hum generated by computer monitors, neon lights and other electrical devices.
The SM7B has been continuously updated from previous models with an improved bracket design that provides greater stability. In addition to the standard wind hood, it also includes the A7WS wind hood for close-talk applications.

The SM7B has a weak output, which places demands on the preamplifier used. We recommend boosting the signal with an sE Dynamite preamp .
