Description

Renowned Roland sounds

V-STAGE keyboards offer four independent sound engines featuring the best of Roland's behavioral modeling and audio technologies.  Discrete sections provide dedicated controls for seamless operation while performing. 

Acoustic piano - rich, dynamic pianos with V-Piano technology, including two concert grands, an upright piano and a felt-treated model that provides a uniquely smooth sound.  High-speed DSP eliminates the obstacles of purely sample-based systems, providing natural response, unlimited expression, and full polyphony.

Electric Piano - This newly developed EP engine includes tine, reed, digital piano, and clavinet instruments, crafted with the latest SuperNATURAL advancements.  Split, octave, detune and key touch controls are available, plus a Sound Lift button for cutting through tight band mixes.  Selectable MFX, a tremolo effect, and an amp simulation are also within reach.

Organ - This section features a three-layer console organ powered by Roland's famous Virtual Tone Wheel technology, two classic transistor models, and a pipe organ.  Harmonic bars and percussion controls provide an authentic organ experience, complemented by overdrive, vibrato/chorus, and a rotating speaker effect with variable speed and microphone placement.

Synthesizer - Explore over 400 built-in ZEN-Core tones to cover any musical style.  Two simultaneous parts are available with quick sound shaping via attack, release, filter and other controls.  V-STAGE supports ZEN-Core patch and sound capabilities on Roland Cloud, including Model Expansions based on JUPITER-8, JUNO-106, and other vintage Roland analog synths (free downloads for registered owners).

Streamlined workflow on stage

The ergonomic V-STAGE interface is designed for creating music in the moment.  Adjust tones on the fly with the intuitive panel layout, sleek color LCD, and clearly labeled top-level controls.  Enhance your sound with the Total Effects section and a wide selection of effects from the Roland library.  And use the Master section's EQ and compressor to quickly fine-tune the overall output for each spot you're playing.

Ready for the live stage

Organize and recall sounds with 512 scenes, each containing an entire keyboard setup with up to five notes and all available effects.  Build chains of up to 128 scenes so you can quickly choose from the scene's setlist, complete with smooth, uninterrupted audio during transitions.  Four connectors on the rear panel support a variety of floor control options, including hold/damper pedals, footswitches, and expression pedals.  There are also two dedicated USB inputs for connecting external MIDI controllers such as the Roland A-49 or A-PRO series.

Connect to house PA and stage monitors via balanced XLR and 1/4-inch stereo main outputs and two balanced sub outputs that can be customized for discrete audio feeds.  Integrate with laptops and mobile devices on stage with built-in USB-C class-compliant audio/MIDI.  Connect an XLR microphone to sing along.  Or use the stereo line input to mix an external instrument such as a drum machine or keyboard.
