The DJ-505 is a feature-packed 2-channel, 4-deck Serato DJ controller, and a full Serato Tool Kit is also included. Its mobility combined with a pro built and advanced set of features make the DJ-505 ideal for mobile set ups, club DJing and live performance as well as music production. The built-in 24-bit/48 kHz audio interface with Roland's high end audio conversion for Master and Booth outputs ensures reliable reproduction of the sound sources and clear, powerful sound.
Balanced XLR outputs allow you to connect directly to a professional PA system, and you can monitor your mixes via Booth Outs as well as separate 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch phono jacks. There's also a 1/4” TS mic input, so you can add vocals or external instruments to your setup. Dedicated Serato DJ controls allow quick creation and triggering of hot cues, loops, TR sounds, sequencer patterns and samples, as well as quick switching between four Serato decks with the Deck Select button. Use the channels' filters or Serato FX (accessible via three FX select buttons per deck) for refined blends or accentuated scratching.
Scratch-friendly
The DJ-505's large discs have low-latency with fast response, providing performance without delay and the ability to scratch in the same way as with turntables, and the luminous outer rings on the jog wheels indicate the status of each deck at a glance. In addition, the DJ-505's discs have brushed aluminum top plates, just like the DJ-808 and DJ-202 controllers, which provide both good feel and robust durability.

The DJ-505's many features and perfect Serato DJ integration provide new creative possibilities for a budding DJ/producer and enable remixing, music production and performance with one and the same compact unit. Use the 16-step sequencer to program drum patterns with sounds from TR drums or the Serato Sampler, then sync beats to your Serato DJ tracks to create unique transitions, live remixes, original music or classic tracks to beef up. Activate Inst-Rec mode to - on the spot and in real time - enable Sampler Sequencing or use Serato Sampler's advanced functions to create multiple layers and synchronize multiple audio tracks or loops within the eight sampler inputs. Finally, the TR-505 has a MIDI output for synchronizing MIDI-supported external devices and instruments with the TR-S sequencer.
