Peavey PV-10 AT - with Antares AutoTune!
- 10-channel compact mixer with Antares AutoTune, USB and BlueTooth.
Naturally, Peavey's small mixers offer ultra-low inherent noise, high-quality mic preamps, and everything else you'd expect from modern compact mixers. But the Peavey PV® 10 AT sets itself apart from the competition by offering Antares AutoTune technology on the first two microphone channels. This function gives singers a helping hand to sing cleanly, which can often be challenging in a live situation.
With a THD of an impressive 0.0007%, these preamps are among the quietest on the market, which any audiophile will welcome. In addition to AutoTune, the two first microphone channels also have a compressor, so you can control peaks and achieve a more uniform dynamic. Channel 4 also has a Hi-Z button, so you can connect guitar or bass directly. All mono channels also have a Direct Out, which allows you to send the signal individually to e.g. headphone preamps or effects machines.
All channels are equipped with an AUX send, and the mono channels can also send to the built-in DSP effect section, which contains a range of high-quality reverb, delay and chorus effects. The effect section can also be sent to AUX, e.g. so that musicians can have monitor accompaniment with effect. The AUX output also has both XLR and TRS-Jack outputs.
The Peavey PV® 10 AT can be connected to a computer via USB and function as a 2-channel sound card. Channel 7/8 can either receive signal return from a connected computer, function as a media player via a thumb drive in the USB-A input, or receive signal from a BlueTooth device.
Most compact mixers in this class only have a single pair of stereo outputs, and perhaps an additional "record" output. The Peavey PV® 10 AT has - in addition to the Master output with both TRS jack and XLR sockets - also 2 extra "Control Room" stereo outputs.
Peavey's KOSMOS-C equalizer design uses psycho-acoustic technology to improve the result of the eq settings. The PV® 10 AT is equipped with both KOSMOS midrange EQ on all mono channels, and there is also a 2-band master KOSMOS EQ - something rarely seen on mixers in this class. The Mic Mute button is brilliant if feedback occurs, or for breaks - it closes all microphone inputs in one fell swoop. You'll also find a Mono Sum button and a TRS footswitch input that can be used to remotely switch off both the effect machine (tip) and the AutoTune effect (ring).
