The GX-10 delivers a universe of ultra-responsive BOSS tone processing in a compact, travel-friendly format. Tackle any playing task with 23 guitar amps and nine bass amps, including high-gain X-Ultra, X-Optima and X-Titan types developed with our latest technologies. Unleash your imagination with 170 effects, including overdrives and distortions, mod effects, delays and reverbs, as well as dedicated bass effects and BOSS classics like Slow Gear, Octave, Slicer and more.
Create amazing sounds quickly
The GX-10 makes it easy to create sounds with its easy-to-use color touchscreen and four dynamic parameter knobs. Assign up to two amps and 15 effects to each memory. Create serial or parallel effects chains, and change the order by dragging blocks with a finger on the screen. Add your favorite external pedals via the send/return loop. BOSS Tone Studio goes even further, letting you edit sounds, load IR files from your computer, or wirelessly tweak tones with our optional Bluetooth adapter and mobile app
Flexible real-time control
The GX-10 offers powerful tools for real-time sound adjustment, packed into a minimalist layout with smart control options. With versatile control modes, you get maximum flexibility with just three footswitches. The expression pedal switches between volume and wah, and activates the tuner when you pull the pedal back. But you can also customize it to control almost anything via the GX-10's assign matrix.
Up/Down Mode – Simplify your setup by scrolling through memories one at a time. Set up basic memories for clean, crunch riffs, and lead sounds. Or fill the 66 banks and 198 user memories with custom sounds for your setlist and switch between them sequentially on stage.
Manual Mode – Reconfigure the footswitches to control three custom targets. Use them like a pedalboard to turn effects on/off or activate a solo boost. Or go deeper and change up to 20 assigned parameters with a single tap.
Bank/Number Mode – This mode allows you to select memories within banks. It also unlocks the Current Number feature, which allows you to access one or more parameters by pressing the switch for the currently loaded memory. This feature allows you to expand your sonic options for each memory with a solo boost, delay effect, or any other parameter you wish to assign.
Organize and record
In addition to editing, BOSS Tone Studio lets you organize GX-10 sounds into Livesets for different gigs and playing situations. You can also access BOSS Tone Exchange directly in the app to download professionally created sounds and share GX-10 Livesets with the global BOSS community. The GX-100 Livesets are also fully compatible with the GX-10. In addition, the GX-10 has a built-in USB-C audio interface, allowing you to record high-quality guitar sounds into music production apps on both computers and mobile devices.
