It is with good reason that the J-45 has been dubbed the 'workhorse'. Since Gibson introduced the model in 1942, it has continuously been the best-selling acoustic guitar in the range year after year. With Epiphone's Masterbilt series, it has been possible to recreate the iconic model in a form that is considerably more affordable and at the same time continues the traditional virtues that the instrument has always stood for. The guitar comes with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany sides and back. In addition, it is also equipped with a Fishman® Sonicore pickup & preamp system, suitable for e.g. stage use.
