Natural sound with power, definition and presence
Amplifying your acoustic guitar with ACS Pro is a great experience. BOSS engineers have worked tirelessly to develop an amplifier that accurately reproduces the guitar's fast response and natural, three-dimensional playing feel. A strong bi-amp design means that the amplifier can handle peaks, as well as delivering a dense and clearly defined sound with clean broadband frequency characteristics. The custom-built woofer and treble horn are built from innovative materials, meaning the sound fills the stage with a rich and natural sound. Other fine details include a unique cabinet that is designed in such a way that unwanted resonance is removed and an integrated back-pouring design that gives the amplifier maximum projection.
Guitar channel with Acoustic Resonance
Acoustic Singer Live's guitar channel has built-in a discrete analog input circuit that gives the sound excess and space for fast tonal approaches and to work with a wide dynamic range like from the acoustic guitar. In addition, BOSS's Acoustic Resonance function is included, which uses advanced sound processing to eliminate the harsh and sterile sound produced by piezo pickups on most stage guitars. This powerful feature not only enhances the character of your pickup, but also restores the complex natural resonances that are often lost when your acoustic guitar is amplified. The channel has a three-band EQ, as well as a phase shifter and Notch control to keep track of feedback issues. There are two types of Chorus effect and a guitar-optimized reverb can be added to give the final finishing touch to your sound.
Microphone channel for vocals and other
Acoustic Singer Live also has a dedicated microphone channel, giving the singing guitarist a compact all-in-one amplifier. The discrete analog input circuit provides rich and clear sound, and there is an option to activate Phantom Power so that studio-quality condenser microphones can be used. There's also a 3-band equalizer, Phase Switch and Anti-feedback Notch control, as well as a top-quality Delay/Echo and Reverb effect that can enrich your vocal sound. If you are using Acoustic Singer Live with an acoustic guitar, this channel can also be used to amplify your acoustic guitar with a microphone. For guitarists using a more advanced setup, this channel can also be used to mix a microphone-recorded audio signal with the guitar's internal microphone pickup.
Automatic polyphony and loop function
A unique feature of Acoustic Singer Live is its multi-part feature that creates vibrant harmonies while you sing and play guitar. It all happens automatically and there is no complicated setup. Your chord progressions are analyzed in real-time and impressive polyphonic singing is generated that is perfectly in tune with the key of your song. And if you modulate to a new key, the intelligent sound processing processor will follow smoothly and precisely. There are two different types of harmony as well as a unison setting that doubles your voice and makes the singing sound fuller. The amplifier's built-in Looper provides another creative and fun musical option where you can build live accompaniment with guitar, vocals, effects and more.
Advanced connectivity and control
The Acoustic Singer Live back panel has all the connectivity options you need. Dual DI/Line outputs are available with XLR connectors, and each channel has a switch, so you can choose the output of both channels mixed together, or the individual channel directly or post-effects. There is also an aux input with volume control, perfect for playing music from a mobile audio player. USB socket allows the amplifier to be connected directly to the computer and a DAW system, and a Rec/Phones socket with a standard ¼" stereo connection allows practicing with headphones and recording to a portable recording device. A range of sockets for foot pedals allow you to control the harmony function, looper and effects.
