The Audient iD44 features 4 Class-A studio microphone preamp inputs. The same discrete circuitry found in the renowned ASP8024-HE recording console and the rest of Audient's products is used. This microphone preamp gives you ultra-low noise and ultra-low distortion, giving you the most accurate reproduction of your sound source, along with enough analog warmth to still give you a bit of character. This makes this preamp the first choice for any project.
Equipped with 2 channels of JFET DI inputs, you get harmonious recording of instruments. The JFET DI input emulates a tube amplifier and is therefore perfect for recording instruments, whether it's guitar, bass, keyboard or drum machine, you can just plug the instrument in directly and start recording.
The Audient iD44 is highly expandable. It features 2 optical inputs and outputs and supports both ADAT and S/PIDIF. You can expand to a whopping 16 additional microphone inputs, making the iD44 an obvious choice for larger sessions and live band recordings.
In addition to this, you also get Audient's reliable iD mixer software, which easily and intuitively lets you adjust your mix by giving you full control over your recording, with the vision of being designed to be simple and easy to use.
