Are you looking for "Grégoire Marets Sound"; the harmonica with the beautiful dark sound?
When Suzuki began producing signature models for star chromatic harmonica player Grégoire Maret, Grégoire said that above all "I want a beautiful dark sound." This was the seed that sparked the development of the G-48 and G-48W (wood cover).
Grégoire constantly sought this mysterious "Beautiful Dark Sound" through the development of his signature models. He suggested many ideas including the materials to be used, the colors, the tolerance for the already and other intricate aspects of these magical instruments. After a long time of research, the G-48 and G-48W finally fulfill all his ideas down to the smallest detail, and a new chromatic Suzuki harmonica is born.
The G-48 has a powerful and intense sound that is combined with a unique dark blue cover plate. The special coating is not only beautiful, but has a high durability.

Gregoire states:
"During live performances and in recording sessions, I'm very demanding of the harmonicas I play. In my opinion, Suzuki harmonicas are by far the best instruments available. They have everything needed in terms of durability, response, comfort and overall quality. Suzuki is also the only company totally committed to improving the quality of their products year after year.
It took us, the Suzuki team and myself, 4 years of intense work to create the best chromatic harmonicas: the G-48 and G-48W as well as the Sirius line. I have been playing both my signature models every day for a few years now. I still love how well they respond, how long they last and how beautiful they sound. Lately I have been adding the SCT-128 Tremolo Chromatic and the SDB-39 Orchestral Double Bass to the instruments I play live and in studio. They are the perfect instruments for special ambiances and to play bass lines. I hope you'll enjoy playing these instruments as much as I do.
Sincerely, Gregoire.”
