Studiologic is known for their high quality keyboards and their coveted Fatar keyboards. Studiologic SL88 Studio - is a really good 88-key MIDI controller with Fatar's latest fully weighted keyboard. The Studiologic SL88 Studio features Fatar's TP/100LR hammer action keyboard, which delivers a precise and authentic playing feel that is completely unheard of in this price range. In addition, you get a MIDI controller with an intuitive user interface that is easy and fast to work with, and 3 X/Y stick controllers that give you good control over your DAW and plug-ins.
The ideal gigging controller
Despite the fact that the SL88 Studio has a fully weighted 88-key keyboard, at around 15kg the SL88 is quite portable. Created for the professional pianist/keyboard player, the SL88 Studio is therefore built with a robust metal frame and impact-resistant synthetic end caps that protect the keyboard and provide a secure grip during transport.
TFT color display for total access
The Studiologic SL88 Studio has a TFT color display which, in combination with the 6-way navigation knob, allows you to quickly and easily navigate through all the functions of the SL88 Studio MIDI controller. 3 push buttons to the right of the control button bring you back to the top menu, so no matter where you are in the menus, you can quickly and safely return to the starting point.
Three X/Y stick controllers for real-time control
Studiologic has equipped the SL88 Studio with three X/Y stick controllers so you can directly manipulate various sound parameters. Connector 1 (which you typically use for pitch and modulation) is spring-loaded in both X/Y axes. Connector 2 is only spring-loaded in the X-axis. Connector 3 is free in both the X and Y axes, which is perfect for crossfaders, panning and parameter control.
