To begin with, the EC-10 is an acoustic cajon that sounds cool in its own right. In addition, it has Roland's well-known electronic percussion technology built in, so you can mix a wide range of sounds together with the cajon itself, from traditional percussion such as tambourine and shaker to acoustic snare drum, electronic drum sound, sound effects and more.

Independent of power source through batteries and built-in amplifier and speaker, the EC-10 El Cajon delivers a dynamic percussion hybrid in the hands of any cajon player.

Thanks to its compact size and versatility, the cajon has become the most popular instrument for on-the-go percussion, from local jams and street musicians to club jobs and beyond.
