PUNCHCOAL is the ideal model for those who want to discover the characteristic sound of resonator guitars. This Cigar Box Guitar allows you to discover and create new open tuning variations. Cask guitar
We wanted to pay homage to the Cigar Box Guitar, an iconic musical instrument. The original design and specific scale length of these guitars give them a unique sound and temperament. Their uniqueness also comes from the number of strings - four for the CASK - which makes it easy to explore numerous alternative tunings. This will add to your sonic arsenal and take you to new musical heights!
Cask Series
For whisky producers, the choice of cask is crucial: its size and type of wood determine the whisky's aroma, flavour, penetration and durability. This explains why there are so many varieties of whisky. At JN Guitars, we believe that producing whisky and making a guitar are similar crafts, as the shape of the body and the selected types of wood give the instrument a specific sound and character. CASK therefore emerged as an obvious name for our Cigarbox guitars.
