Hindsberg worked for a number of years with Steinway. Hindsberg is particularly known for his copies of Steinway & Sons grand pianos, where there is a clear recognisability, regarding the musical expression, the construction etc.

The Hindsberg instruments were produced in Denmark from 1853 to the mid-1970s.
